We introduced Distraction Free Mode back in July and at the time we were pretty happy with how we designed it. However over time it became clear that the DFM notification popup window was probably not a good idea. So we had to do something about it and here is what we came up with:

In the latest Daylo Meet version when your party goes DFM, instead of you seeing this annoying popup dialog:

You now see this unobtrusive toast notification at the top of your screen:

The toast will stay up for 10 seconds and disappear automatically. During the 10 seconds, you too can go DFM by pressing the JOIN button.

And if you miss the toast you can always switch to Distraction Free Mode from the utility toolbar that appears on the right side of your screen.
